3D Spirograph

Spirograph is created by a set of toy rulers which can generate/draw dramatic and complex graphics through two circles which are tangent to each other. Following the logic of changing the radius of two tangent circles and the locations of the starting point, diverse complex graphics can be generated by these rulers. This experimental project was attempted to translate these 2D graphics into 3D within the same principles. The forms exhibited here following different tracks by rotating different referencing axis in 3D to create various unique and intriguing 3D Spirograph shapes.
